Scott Stangle
BIO
Scott Stangle is an audio engineer, producer, and guitarist from Lowell, MA. Prior to his role as an audio engineer and producer at Red13 Studios’ Lawrence location, Scott owned and operated Ohana Media & Production. For five years, Scott worked with hundreds of developing artists in the greater Lowell area to help bring their creative visions to fruition. Scott is an active member of the Lowell music community and attributes much of his lifelong commitment to music and love of guitar to the moment his middle school band teacher introduced him to funk and jazz music, and most notably, Herbie Hancock’s “Headhunters” record. Hancock’s seminal album opened up a world of musical possibility for Scott and since then, he’s worked tirelessly to bring that same level of collaboration, improvisation, and creativity, to all of his artistic collaborations. Scott’s audio work has been featured on JAMN 94.5’s The Launch Pad and NPR’s Hidden Brain podcast.
